Getting Big!

When you have a baby, everyone always tells you that they grow so fast--it really is true. It's kind of hard to believe that Nolan is almost 5 months old. He's already around 18 pounds and he just seems to be getting bigger and bigger.

It's so fun to go through new stages with him. We fed him rice cereal for the first time and started giving him water. He loves it-- he loves putting anything and everything in his mouth. He is quite the slobber-er. Nolan loves playing with toys and is getting pretty good at his jumperoo.

We started sleep training with him about a week ago and it's going really well. We make him cry it out which was really hard at first. He still cries before falling asleep, but he's been staying asleep for 8-10 hours so it is totally worth it. Now we just need to tackle naps.

Here are some recent pictures. (You can see in some of them that he scratched himself on his forehead pretty good- those fingernails grow fast!)
