4 Weeks

Nolan is 4 weeks old as of yesterday and will be 1 month old tomorrow! In some ways the past 4 weeks have flown by, but at times it's felt like they've been some of the longest weeks of my life. We're adjusting well to life as parents. Nolan is a good little baby. It can be hard to get him to go to sleep, but he'll usually sleep for 6-8 hours once he does. It's been really nice to not be completely exhausted. He is a good nurser and loves to eat all day long.

We're still not really taking him out in public so I don't really get out much. We've gone on some walks which have been good. It's fun that he's so little right now but it will be nice once he's not eating so frequently and we can take him out more.

Things have slowed down for Justin at work-- finally! He is such a great dad. He can be quite entertaining and Nolan just stares at him. He is convinced that Nolan will be ready for kayaking next summer and wakeboarding in 2 years... we'll see about that!

Justin's sister is coming to visit for a week and then in another month both sets of grandparents are coming out for his baby blessing. Then it will be Thanksgiving and Christmas before we know it! We have lots to look forward to in the next few months.
