Another Trip to Texas

Is it really March already? That is so crazy to me. Justin had to go out of town for work last week so Nolan and I headed back down to Texas. It was a really good trip and definitely nice to have some adult interaction. This was his THIRD trip to Texas. Nolan has gotten quite attached to me so it was good for him to learn to warm up to other people. Although now that we're back, he's starting to have some major separation anxiety issues. Not so much fun. I haven't gotten much done lately because he starts to cry the second I start to walk away from him. Fun.

Nolan can sit up by himself now and he still loves to play with toys. Everything goes in his mouth. He's started wrapping his arms around my neck when I pick him up, then he pulls my head towards him, and tries to put my nose, mouth, chin, hair or whatever he can in his mouth. I get slobbered... a lot. But it's fun :)

The weather was really nice in Texas so it was fun to be outside for a change. We went to the zoo and to the park.



One night Nolan was sitting on the floor with the Boppy pillow around him and Austin (his cousin) came and put his head on one side of the pillow. Nolan started rubbing his head which we thought was really funny. Then Davis came and laid on the other side and Nolan kept trying to suck on his head. Austin and Davis were so cute with Nolan.

I was about to give Nolan a bath today so I thought it would be fun to gel his hair. As you can see, he has kind of a natural mohawk. He really did not like me messing with his hair, so I didn't do a very good job, but still kind of funny. I put a bunch of toys in front of him and he happened to grab the guitar toy on his own... very appropriate!
