Cherry Blossoms

It's that time of year again!  We went to see the Cherry Blossoms downtown last Sunday.  It was cold and SO crowded so we didn't make it all the way around the Tidal Basin, but at least we made it.  They were so pretty this year.  They usually only bloom for about 2 weeks a year and there are typically only about 4-5 days when they are at their peak.  They have these trees all over the area but the ones downtown are really old and really pretty because a lot of them hang down over the water.  Here are some pictures:  (Nolan was cold and very distracted so he didn't cooperate too much for the pictures)

Yes, he did rip that bunch of blossoms right off the tree.  I think that might be illegal!

And here are some other pictures.  Justin is very excited about baseball season starting.  I decided that Nolan should wear his Nationals jogging suit on opening day.

Nolan is ready for Easter.  Justin is not a big fan of the bunny ears.  He asked me why I didn't buy blue ones???


Nolan is 7 months old now and doing great.  He loves to grab at things and is rolling over more now.  He loves baby food and loves drinking out of a sippy cup.  He loves to pull my hair and he is mesmerized by Justin's iPhone.  He tries so hard to figure out a way to put it in his mouth!  He likes to shake toys and really likes the ones the light up and make noise.  He is not a napper and hasn't been sleeping that great at night.  I can see his first tooth about to break through so I'm sure that's not going to help our sleeping issues.  He loves it when Justin comes home and gets so excited to see him.  We've been taking him to the park and he has lots of fun in the baby swing.  He laughs lots and we just love the little guy.

We're hoping that the spring weather will finally get here soon.  We have lots planned in the coming months including a trip to Niagara Falls next month.  He will be crawling before we know it and I'm sure the summer will fly by and then he will be 1!  I can't believe how fast it goes!!

And last but not least, we got this in the mail a little while ago.  It's official!  Justin H. Roberts, CPA.  I'm so proud of him and so grateful that we don't have to worry about studying for the CPA exam this spring!
