Little Toddler

Obviously, I have totally neglected my blog for a long time, but I decided that it was about time to post some pictures of Nolan, especially since he is getting so big!  He is 18 months old now which is just crazy.  I've realized that it's harder to post pictures (among other things) as kids get older and more mobile.  Nolan has decided that he doesn't like to look/ smile at the camera so most of these are action shots.  We went to the zoo on Saturday which was lots of fun. Justin is finishing up another busy season, but he didn't have to work this past Saturday so Nolan was especially excited about Daddy being at the zoo.  Most of the other pictures are from Nolan's music class that just ended.  He didn't really like the music portion of it at all and the teacher made him really nervous for some reason, but he liked it when she would get out all the toys!
Nolan was more interested in the animal crackers than in the orangutan swinging over his head!

Looking at the gorillas.

Looking at the elephants.

Playing on the otters.

Nolan loves Chipotle.  This kid can eat a serious amount of rice and beans!

Trying to throw rocks in the creek just like Daddy.

Rock Creek right by the zoo in DC.

Nolan was pushing these buttons for forever!

We bring a ball with us pretty much everywhere we go these days.  And it seems like Nolan always finds balls at any store we go to-- and I seem to always buy them for him.  We have quite the ball collection :)

Nolan likes watching movies- especially Barney!

In one of his cute Nike outfits from Grandma!

Nolan can say "football" now.  He is quite the climber.

At the last day of his music class.

Singing the monkey song

He really liked the rhythm sticks and would usually run away with them whenever it was time to put them away.

Ribbon sticks

Stacking blocks.

Hula hoop.

Walking the "balance beam"

Nolan was absolutely terrified of the parachute.  He finally tried it out but didn't last long!
