Spring

It's been a few weeks since I've blogged! Things have been kind of busy lately. My parents came to visit us for a few days which was SO much fun. It was so good to see them and we were able to do some fun things.

We drove up to Sedona, Arizona for a day. It's a little town about 2 hours north of Phoenix where they have lots of beautiful red rock mountains. It's pretty much just a little resort town, kind of like Park City. We just drove around and enjoyed the scenery.

On the way up to Sedona we stopped at Montezuma National Monument where we saw the homes of some ancient cliff dwellers. It was pretty neat.

We also went to a few spring training games with my parents. We got to sit in WAY better seats than we usually do. We went out to eat, had a 24 watching party, and played SEVERAL rounds of Sequence. It was kind of hard to go back to work (and back to being poor) after they left!!

We've still been enjoying spring training. Justin had his spring break last week so he went to 6 games in one week! (He is getting VERY tan already) He's definitely taking advantage of being in Arizona this of year. He probably won't have another chance to go to spring training in the next 40 years since he's going into tax so good for him. The weather has been really nice still but it's starting to get hot already. I can only imagine what the summer is going to be like. We went to a Giants came last Saturday (Justin's favorite team). He got a new Giants visor which he thinks is pretty cool!

Oh, and one other thing. Our cable went out! Somehow we were getting all the basic channels for free but it randomly went out 2 weeks ago today. I don't know how, but we have survived living without TV for 2 weeks! We're being cheap and trying to avoid paying for cable but I don't know how long I can last. We tried to buy bunny ears for the TV but they didn't really work. Thank goodness for hulu.com!

Other than that we're just staying busy with work, school, church, and all sorts of fun stuff!
